Since the story apparently first appeared in the zine "Sentinel In Space", one had an inkling of what kind of a story it might be, but that wasn't really a spoiler. The opening teases you, letting things slip, but not actually telling you what brought them there, not until later on in the story, when you are practically begging to find out. I love that, the way it draws you on. Also how it concentrates on people's reactions to the situation, like the talk that Blair has with Daryl. The author better hurry up with a sequel, I say. The scenario which has been painted has a lot of opportunity for new and interesting things -- new challenges! (And I like the decision Jim and Blair made at the end too).
