Summary:Because wiping memories is a bad Time Lord habit.

A post "Journey's End" fixit involving two people I would never have thought of. The fact that it's a fixit at all makes me like it, but this method gets bonus points for being clever and fitting.

Sensible (Pride and Prejudice/Doctor Who)

Summary:The gentleman had pleasing features, and he carried himself with both energy and grace; he appeared to have only a trifling acquaintance with fashion, but Mary herself was no intimate friend of that entity and did not count it against him.

This gets a plus for even trying this combination of characters: Mary Bennet and the Eighth Doctor. It's fun seeing the Doctor through someone else's eyes, and capturing the stilted old-fashioned style that Mary would be speaking in. While I wouldn't have thought that Mary had it in her, well, the Doctor is often a catalyst to one's braver and bolder self.
