Summary: Little snippets in the life of Nyota Uhura that culminate in the events in the Enterprise turbolift.

I really like this. It fills in the backstory of Uhura and Spock, shows how their friendship developed, how Uhura's feelings developed, but thank goodness, didn't posit that they were "in a relationship" before the Enterprise. I know that some people think they were, but I don't think that is consistent with either of their characters. So I found this story very satisfying.
