This Alternative Universe story was inspired when Michael Shanks was once asked what he thought Daniel would do in his spare time, to which he answered something along the lines of 'ninja'. The author found this to be an irresistible challenge -- to do this in a way that would actually be plausible, and amazingly enough, I think she succeeded -- at least enough for one to suspend one's disbelief and have some fun with the idea.

Note that though the one URL has "slash" in the title, this story is NOT slash.
