I hadn't thought that one could actually fill in gaps in the actual
story of The Lord of the Rings -- there are no gaps. But, to borrow a
phrase from Lewis, there are other peoples' stories. And this is one of
them -- a poignant behind-the-scenes look at one unusual character
caught up in the siege of Minas Tirith, which takes another look at some
of the events of that part of the story. Well worth a look at. And a
winner in the 2003 Mithril Awards.
