I'm not normally interested in stories in script format, but I'd read the establishing-shot paragraph before I realized it was a script... and kept on reading. This is very true to the X-Files feel -- what a Highlander crossover would be like if done as an early X-Files episode; complete with ambiguity and unresolved ending. And some good lines.
    Mulder: No, I understand, it's just that the description rings a bell.
    Scully: That's just the bats.
