Wire-work hoop earrings wrapped with climbing roses, with dangling drops. They look nice even without the drops.

Materials Needed: 2 gemstone drops 11x7mm 2 20g Jumprings 18g wire - for hoops (length depends on size) 22g wire - 24 inches, for big roses on bottom 24g wire - 40 inches, for 4 other roses 26g wire - 12 inches, for wrapping drops.

This shows how to make puffy paper stars out of strips of paper. It's really quite effective. Any kind of pretty paper will do.

Make twisted curl rainbows using color film, resin and packing tape. The idea is to make your surface with the colour film, dome it with resin, let it cure until it is dry but still bendable (half the time it takes to cure hard) and then wrap the piece around a cylinder (like a pencil) and tape it down to hold it in place until it is fully cured. This uses colour film from little-windows.com, but I expect normal cellophane would work just as well. One could also use pretty (translucent) paper.

This tutorial shows how to create double-swirl hammered wire-work earrings (with a bead dangle inside). Simple but elegant.

This video shows how to make a kumihimo braid with a wire core, not just for making cuff bracelets, but for pendants (and earrings etc). Rather than tying a knot in the cords and trying to attach the wire, this method wraps the wire around the cords, leaving one end of the wire free for making a wire loop (or wire decoration) and the rest of the wire is the core around which the braid is braided. Then, when there's still wire left, the braid is finished with a couple of half-hitches around the wire, and then the remaining wire can be played with for more decoration at the other end. And the braided part can be bent in whichever way you want, with the wire core making it stiff.

Make the wire into a frame, hammer it flat, stick to masking tape, use doming resin, sprinkle with beads or glitter to decorate before curing. Cool.

Instructable for making resin + wire + glitter earrings that do look rather fab. Includes some useful tips like using less-sticky tape, and using white glue to fill gaps between the tape and the wire frame.
