Resin: Rainbow Curl EarringsMake twisted curl rainbows using color film, resin and packing tape. The idea is to make your surface with the colour film, dome it with resin, let it cure until it is dry but still bendable (half the time it takes to cure hard) and then wrap the piece around a cylinder (like a pencil) and tape it down to hold it in place until it is fully cured. This uses colour film from little-windows.com, but I expect normal cellophane would work just as well. One could also use pretty (translucent) paper.2017-09-20 04:08:00

How to Make a Kumihimo Braid with Wire Core -Braided Jewelry TutorialThis video shows how to make a kumihimo braid with a wire core, not just for making cuff bracelets, but for pendants (and earrings etc). Rather than tying a knot in the cords and trying to attach the wire, this method wraps the wire around the cords, leaving one end of the wire free for making a wire loop (or wire decoration) and the rest of the wire is the core around which the braid is braided. Then, when there's still wire left, the braid is finished with a couple of half-hitches around the wire, and then the remaining wire can be played with for more decoration at the other end. And the braided part can be bent in whichever way you want, with the wire core making it stiff.2017-06-21 22:00:00

Lily of hearts Swarovski ElementsTurn hearts into flowers! That is, take heart-shaped beads and use them as the petals of a bead flower.
Not in English, but there is Google Translate. Still not entirely easy to follow the instructions. Still noting this because I like the idea.2015-11-18 16:27:00 -
String Art with HAMA beadsForm HAMA beads into a circle, fuse them, and then use that as a basis for that spirograph-like string art. Cool idea! It works because the fused HAMA beads still have holes through which one can thread things. (This is not in English, but the pictures are self-explanatory) While this uses them for Christmas decorations, the same method could be used to make pendants or earrings.2015-04-22 15:35:00
