Make twisted curl rainbows using color film, resin and packing tape. The idea is to make your surface with the colour film, dome it with resin, let it cure until it is dry but still bendable (half the time it takes to cure hard) and then wrap the piece around a cylinder (like a pencil) and tape it down to hold it in place until it is fully cured. This uses colour film from little-windows.com, but I expect normal cellophane would work just as well. One could also use pretty (translucent) paper.

Tutorial for making a tiny book pendant for a necklace.

Nifty. Looks fairly straightforward, useful for small gifts. Would need stiff-ish paper, or cardstock, and wouldn't survive squashing, but it does look nice.

Watercolour/Dye/Food-colouring + Epsom Salt + Table Salt + water + paper = pretty! Basically. adding Epsom salt and table salt to watercolour painting means that the salt crystalizes as the paint dries, adding a shimmery surface. Since both Epsom salt and table salt dissolve in warm water, no need for boiling water. Though on the downside, this also means that unless the painting is sealed, the crystals might dissolve away from the painting if it gets wet or humid.
