Easy tutorial to make a wire pendant in the shape of a leaf. Materials: Copper wire 18G and 26G. Tools: Cutting pliers, round and flat. File for jewelry.

Beautiful effects, like cracked glass. This uses metal sheet, embossing folder, alcohol ink, _Matte Accents_ and _Rock Candy Crackle_. The alcohol ink is applied after the embossing, the matte varnish is there to ensure that the _Rock Candy_ will stick to the metal.

Interesting technique using an open-backed bezel and silicone putty to capture the shape of a found organic object like shells or flowers. What makes this interesting is that the bezel is part of the (created out of silicone putty) mould, so the resin sets inside the bezel itself, so you don't have to try to fit the item inside the bezel. Then when the resin is set, you can fill in the other side, so that it is smooth on both sides. Another interesting aspect is that one could make something semi-translucent instead of completely opaque, possibly dusting the surface with mica powder, and you could get interesting effects when the light shines through it.

This tutorial shows you how to prong set a cabochon with wire. Long but detailed. It's a good design, holds the cabochon well, while the prongs are unobtrusive.

Lantern pendant with large spherical stones without holes - jewelry making from copper wire. Really nifty way of ensuring that the petals are even. This pattern is suitable for stones with a diameter bigger than 1cm; the bigger the stone, the bigger the lantern. Without the Viking-knit bottom, this pattern can be used to make bead caps. Likewise, one could use a large bead cap for the first part of the pattern, and enclose with Viking knit.

This video demonstrates an easy way to make a wire wrapped pendant that features a cabochon stone. This requires thick (copper) wire, thinner (blackened steel) wire, wire cutters, hammer, block, centre punch, another hammer, and a drill. The idea is to use the thick wire as an outer frame, bend it in an overlapping teardrop shape, flatten the ends and drill holes in them (for jump-rings to go through). Then cage the cabochon inside the frame with the thinner wire.

This shows how to create a custom pendant using an image of your choosing behind a glass tile. Rather than gluing the tile/cabochon inside a bezel, this finishes the back with Diamond Glaze, then a bail is glued on with E6000.

How to make beautiful glass pendants easily (and more cheaply?) than using bezels or trays. You still use glass cabochons (and whatever decorative paper you want to stick to them), but instead of gluing them to bezel trays, you make the hanging-loop with wire, and the backing with card and epoxy dome stickers. Learn how to securely wire wrap an undrilled cabochon in this geometric, steam punk inspired style. Steampunk because it uses a gear as part of the framework.

This tutorial shows how to wrap a stone or cabochon with macrame using the vertical larks head technique. This can be done with or without beads. The idea is that one has two vertical cords, and one ties alternating larks-head knots to these, optionally adding beads between each knot. I've seen this done without beads, but what I like about this method IS the beads, which give it some extra bling.

Making a resin pendant with two sizes of copper tubing; one for the outside, and one to make a big hole (like a GoGo pendant) inside. Fill with resin, sand, polish.

Make twisted curl rainbows using color film, resin and packing tape. The idea is to make your surface with the colour film, dome it with resin, let it cure until it is dry but still bendable (half the time it takes to cure hard) and then wrap the piece around a cylinder (like a pencil) and tape it down to hold it in place until it is fully cured. This uses colour film from little-windows.com, but I expect normal cellophane would work just as well. One could also use pretty (translucent) paper.

Lisa Pavelka demonstrates using Magic-Glos with open-backed settings. Here she creates a layered collage using a setting, Magic-Glos resin and a variety of components. Includes useful tips that I haven't seen elsewhere.

This video shows how to make a kumihimo braid with a wire core, not just for making cuff bracelets, but for pendants (and earrings etc). Rather than tying a knot in the cords and trying to attach the wire, this method wraps the wire around the cords, leaving one end of the wire free for making a wire loop (or wire decoration) and the rest of the wire is the core around which the braid is braided. Then, when there's still wire left, the braid is finished with a couple of half-hitches around the wire, and then the remaining wire can be played with for more decoration at the other end. And the braided part can be bent in whichever way you want, with the wire core making it stiff.

Tutorial for making a tiny book pendant for a necklace.

Create a galaxy effect pendant tutorial. This one makes the galaxy background with white acrylic paint and (sparkly) black/blue/purple/clear nailpolish painted into a bezel. The 3D effect is done by layering glitter and stars and microbeads on top, and doming it all with (UV?) resin and adding a few more glitter-stars into that.
