Learn how to make your own polymer clay cabochons with a few tools. This shows a few different methods, but the basic idea is to take a (transparent) stamp, dampen it, and push it into the polymer clay to give a textured design. The variations occur as to at what point the clay is flattened and cut out into rounds/balls; before or after the texturing. Then the clay is given an oxidised/metallic look by rubbing mica powder on the raised parts. Then baked as usual. It can be left as is, or made more dome-like by putting doming resin on it.
