What I like about this is that the necklace doesn't just end at the donut pendant, but continues on through with the matching leather cord dangle. Lucite flower Earrings Serenity Pure by whiteravendesignsau on Etsy. (Unfortunately, neither the listing nor the shop exist any more.) I like the elegant simplicity of this, bringing the disparate elements together to make something lovely.

The idea here is to take a cord and make a crochet-like chain on one side of the necklace, and leave the other side plain. That's an interesting texture/chunkiness contrast. In this example, the cord happens to be a beaded crochet cord, but the idea would work for any pretty cord. (original page gone)

Such a nifty idea, I wonder it never occurred to me before: use round leather thonging to make Celtic knots (with added beads) to make earrings. Leather has both flexibility and stiffness that suits this kind of design. (This uses to be on Etsy, but it has vanished)

Lovely but simple wire-work with thick wire around glass marbles; a set of three matched pendants, one above the other. (the original site has vanished)

This "infinity scarf" attracted my attention because it starts off with knitted i-cord, and then does a traditional three-strand braid with five strands: two strands, two strands, and one strand. That slight asymmetry adds interest.

This idea could be used for jewellery-making as well as scarf-making.

A little too chunky for my taste, but I like the idea of a single bead of a different colour but the same size as the other beads. (Both item and shop have now vanished)

At first I thought the colourful parts were beads, but looking closer, I see they are thread - the WHOLE THING is macrame knots. Cool. (original page is gone)
