Crocheted two-strand necklace with paua shell, sea-glass and pewter charms. Handmade by an artist in Cairns. The shells and sea-glass are drilled, then strung on linen cord and crocheted into a chain. There are two such chains, and those chains are joined together to make one thicker cord.

Fabulous. A sea-shell slice by itself looks rather naked, but this wire-wrapping enhances it nicely.

I like how this follows the shape of the shell.
