What I like about this is that the necklace doesn't just end at the donut pendant, but continues on through with the matching leather cord dangle. Part of the reason it works is because the same leather cord is used above and below, and because the cord above is attached so as to mirror the cord below. (original listing has vanished)

Turquoise donut pendant with satin cord Kumihimo braids on each side attached to it. What makes this interesting is that I think the braids started from the pendant, given the way the cords are wrapped around it, though I could be mistaken. But I like that idea, anyway.

Goldstone and copper wire and copper beads, all go so well together. Wire and beads cover only half the donut, giving some interesting a-symmetry and negative space. Also, the beads are not on every turn of the wire, only every third turn, again avoiding uniformity.

A _GoGo_ donut with three strands of square wire coming up through the hole and swirling in a loop and vanishing again. Pretty cool.

This uses a gemstone donut as a centrepiece and attaches a band of crochet to both sides.

I like this idea! Mixing crochet, chains, and semi-precious donut-beads. This shows earrings, but one could use this idea for a necklace too, and possibly use more complex maille weaves with this mix of rings.

Two things I like about this: \ the single swirl in the wraps around the donut, making it like a cross between a flower and a whirlpool \ the way the pinkish bright copper goes with the pink in the Unakite (original listing is gone)

Lariat style shell and pearl necklace with beads. The cool thing about this is how the end of the necklace goes through the hole in the GoGo/Donut shell. Could do this with (knit/crochet/macrame/kumihimo) cord too, and with semi-precious donuts. (original page is gone)

A circle inside a circle inside a circle. Uses donut-beads and beads strung on wire to make the inner part of the pendant, and a hammered wire curve encloses it.
