This tutorial demonstrates how to make a glue bound paper back book using a hot glue gun and EVA glue. This creates a "perfect binding" paperback book.

This is the easiest and fastest photo transfer paper the artis has used! The shiny side of mailing labels, with Liquitex Gel Medium. When the gel medium is allowed to dry completely, this paper will provide a VERY clean transfer. In addition, the artist had no printer jam problems, as can sometimes happen with thin photo transfer paper.

Why spend money on new folders when you can make your own?! This video shows you how to do so, and how to use leftover products. The basic idea is to cut out shapes from heavy cardstock, and glue them to a heavy cardstock background, and use that as an embossing plate. It won't be as deep as a two-sided folder or as durable as plastic or metal, but it will work.

You can make totally amazing tape for your Art Journals and Mixed Media art Projects with leftover Acrylic Skins. (That is, sheets of acrylic paint formed as part of the acrylic pouring process.) You can even cut this tape with fancy scissors, die cutters and punches. This is a way to use those skins that are just too thin to peel up on their own. This needs acid-free (non-yellowing) wide clear tape. The creator used Scotch Ultra Clear Heavy Weight Packing Tape, but other tapes would work just as well, so long as they are acid-free (and wide).

In this video we have a quick look at 'hot stamping' which is where we apply a maker's mark (or other stamp) to some leather by heating it up rather than applying it to cased leather.

This is a quick method using a heat gun, for industrial application you can get proper machines to do this. Please try not to burn yourselves :)
