Wide bracelet made of wire; it resembles knitting, but rather than actual knitting, each row is one piece of wire bent into loops, and interlocked with the row before. One advantage of this method is that one can use thicker wire, and thus the bracelet is pretty sturdy, while looking very lacy. While the author of this did all the bending of the loops by hand, it might be easier to ensure their evenness by doing it on a jig. One makes all the row-wires first, and then links them together. Then the bracelet was tapered at each end, so that it could be fastened with one simple hook-clasp.

Learn how to make your own polymer clay cabochons with a few tools. This shows a few different methods, but the basic idea is to take a (transparent) stamp, dampen it, and push it into the polymer clay to give a textured design. The variations occur as to at what point the clay is flattened and cut out into rounds/balls; before or after the texturing. Then the clay is given an oxidised/metallic look by rubbing mica powder on the raised parts. Then baked as usual. It can be left as is, or made more dome-like by putting doming resin on it.

This tutorial shows how to make a fully beaded flat kumihimo braid. This is a seven-strand flat braid, and there are three beads used per row. This looks like it locks the beads in more easily than the 8-strand round braid that is the most commonly used braid. Materials: 1mm satin cord, 4 x 3mm rondelles with 1mm holes, 8mm ribbon ends. This uses a square kumihimo disk, but it should work using other platforms as well.

Rusty texture technique ("DIY Rust Paste"); this is a technique for making an embossed or bas-relief surface look like it is all rusty and neglected. It is a multi-layer technique, not just a single application of a paste to make things look rusty. It requires dark brown (Burnt Umber) paint and rusty-brown (Burnt Sienna) paint for the under-layers; these have a texture powder added to the paint to give it... texture! If you can't get the grit powder, cinnamon will do (it's bark, it isn't going to dissolve or go rotten). Other paints are then added in more layers to get a metallic and patina look.

This video demonstrates an easy way to make a wire wrapped pendant that features a cabochon stone. This requires thick (copper) wire, thinner (blackened steel) wire, wire cutters, hammer, block, centre punch, another hammer, and a drill. The idea is to use the thick wire as an outer frame, bend it in an overlapping teardrop shape, flatten the ends and drill holes in them (for jump-rings to go through). Then cage the cabochon inside the frame with the thinner wire.
